Dom + Aleks

Dom and Aleks are so much fun!  The chemistry between them is amazing to watch.  They are hilarious!  It was so easy to get them to be themselves and be natural in front of the camera.  Aleks does this wicked expression with her eyes and eyebrows, I could not help but to giggle as I was going through their images 🙂

We ventured through the Distillery District and then to the Harbourfront.  Their engagement was from 3pm-6pm and we were able to make use of some great lighting as the sun was going down closer to the end of their engagement.  We love engagement shoots because it allows us to get to know the couple and find out what works in preparation of the wedding day.  We make engagement shoots more of a experience and build a relation with the couples so both the couple and photographer/cinematographer interact on a personal level and become like part of the family on the wedding day.

Here are some comments from Aleks:

Aleks:  Thanks again for yesterday! We had a fantastic time.  We can’t wait to see the photos!

And after we sent them the gallery…

Aleks:  Just wanted to say thank you for the engagement photos! They are fabulous! I’ve been showing them off to everyone! You did a fantastic job!! Dom and I can’t wait till the wedding!!

George • Laura

Intense emotions, beautiful scenery, loving couple and amazing family & friends.  Here is the wedding of George and Laura!

What a wonderful outdoor wedding at Nestleton Waters Inn!  The scenery was absolutely exquisite and the staff was so helpful with great attention to detail.  Deborah Kiezebrink, the owner of the Inn, greeted us with a delightful smile and got us working right away as everything was well organized and ready to go.

The entire wedding day took place at the Nestleton Waters Inn so there was no travel time which presented an opportunity to capture so many wonderful moments.  It was a joy to see George and Laura and all their family and friends celebrate their love for each other.

Stephen • Bianca [A Wedding Highlights]

Stephen and Bianca… wow!!!!

Such a grand experience that there were fireworks to end the night! A day full of glitz, glam, amazing food and music… We even caught some awesome clips of Rob enjoying the Euro Dance session… [we may share the images we caught of him doing his fist pump while photographing guests 😉 ]

Kaylea • Lucas (Same Day Edit)

When Kaylea and Lucas came to the studio talking about their ‘film’ inspired wedding…. my eyes lit up and I immediately started planning out their Same Day Edit!  Even before we had even talked about it!!

Especially because it was going to be played on one of the largest screens that our videos would ever be played on!  In a Real Theatre!  So when we got down to the details and I found out that the sound track, composition and some ‘classic scenes’ from the movie ‘500 Days of Summer’ – was one of their favs… Mark and I planned out to create something that they would remember for the rest of their lives.

when is spot cinema launching the new website? I miss it and want to share the postings with friends.

I am thrilled with this film. You were able to really capture who Kaylea and Lucas are. So many friends and family are flabbergasted that you were able to create a same day edit of this calibre in a single day. That are guests were able to view this film that evening on such a large screen was a huge bonus!!! Thank you for making Lucas and Kaylea’s wedding day so memorable!

Tracy Hudson - July 21, 2010

This looks like a fairy tale but it’s real!!! We extend our congratulations not only to the newly married couple but also for all your efforts in making this a fabulous day for all!

Anne Millar - July 18, 2010

This very special video has captured some beautiful memorable moments from Kaylea and Lucas’ “wedding of a lifetime”. How fab that my kids and I were able to travel from NZ to be at the wedding– and how truly fab that we can relive some of the moments when viewing this video. This is truly a 5 Star Production!

Monika • Jason (a wedding highlights)

Monika and Jason share a love that I can’t put in words… (In fact, I’ve re-re-re-written this blog post so many times that I’m giving up and being completely honest and to the point)!  After going through the clips that were captured at Monika and Jason’s wedding… I was blown away!  Each and every shot I previewed had MAGIC!  They shared a passion that was written all over their faces.  Everyone from the wedding party to the family and friends were all genuinely happy to be present…

lucky for me…  I brought my cameras!:)

Paula - May 11, 2010

Absolutely amazing! I’m still crying! Congratulations to the beautiful couple and I really want to get married now…
